Livery client story: Mushroom

“ I first met Mushroom at a stable. As I got to know him, I noticed marks on his body faint scars from a past I’ll never fully know. People dismissed his well-being, and Mushroom was often misunderstood, labeled a “problem horse” for bucking and spooking. I realized he was in pain. That’s when I made the decision to buy Mushroom, determined to give him the life he deserved.

Through our journey we found our way to Alia Alassaf Academy, and it felt like heaven. Thanks to the patience and dedication of the trainers and team there, Mushroom finally had the space to heal and just be a horse. The once reactive, malnourished horse transformed into a playful, affectionate soul. He now trusts humans again and seeks constant attention.

Today, he’s living his best life loving every moment, including his chiropractor sessions. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of the Alia Alassaf Academy team and I am forever grateful to them. Mushroom’s journey is proof that love and patience can change everything.”
